Since 1962, in the heart of Nebraska, Brown Construction has been more than a construction company. We're a family legacy, a team of passionate professionals, and your trusted partner in bringing projects to life.
Who We Are
It all began in 1962 when Jim Brown laid the foundation of Brown Construction in Holdrege, Nebraska. With a vision rooted in hard work, honesty, and craftsmanship, Jim set a standard of excellence that guided every future build.
In 1994, after a successful career with Nebraska Cornhuskers and in the CFL, Jim's son, Todd Brown, joined the business. By 2000, Todd had taken the reins - and in 2007, the company relocated to Kearney, Nebraska, positioning itself as a design-build powerhouse serving central Nebraska and beyond.

Pre-Construction: Budgeting, feasibility, planning, scheduling, cost & quality control, risk assessment.
Construction: On-site leadership, progress monitoring, change order management, labor oversight, safety, and quality service.
Post-Construction: Final commissioning, warranties, lien releases, operation manuals, and digital closeouts - our one-year commitment doesn't end on handoff day.
